Our fast-paced development team is expanding!  We are looking for another career-minded, Senior .NET Developer to join our current team of dedicated professionals. 

About us:
NewspaperARCHIVE.com, the largest historical newspaper database online, contains tens of millions of newspaper pages from 1759 to present. Every newspaper in the archive is fully searchable by keyword and date making it easy to quickly explore historical content. 

As a member of our talented, Software Development team, you'll be able to do the following:   
" Own the software development lifecycle-from inception to deployment.  Set yourself and your applications up for success.
" Design and Implement E-business applications to deliver our digital media.
" Work with the website team to develop a QA process that will ensure performance of application rollouts.
" Work in Microsoft environment using .NET with emphasis in C# and ASP.NET 2.0.  T-SQL using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005.

Our ideal candidate has:
" At least five years of experience in each of the above areas. 
" Experience developing web-based application and tools.  Imaging experience (Adobe, TIF manipulation, etc.) is a huge plus. 
" Proven ability to learn quickly, provide creative solutions, adapt to a constantly changing environment and handle multiple tasks effectively. 
" Must be very self-directed
" A positive attitude who is interested in taking our company to the next level.
